What a great sign. This hand lettered sign is live edge cedar. Live edge means the piece will show the natural contour of the tree, limbs and even in some cases, the bark.

This cedar sign measures approximately 40" x 6.75". The signs pictured in this listing are sold. Upon order, we will pull the next piece of cedar ready to paint for this size. The lettering is in a two tone teal with a dark and light shadowing of the letters. The paint used for the lettering is exterior paint. The same paint you would use for the exterior of your home. Other colors for the lettering can be ordered. The sign is cedar which is a great wood for weathering outside, but to make it even better, we apply a minimum of three coats of a spar urethane. This sealer is a multi step process and looks similar to honey going on the wood. The spar urethane has a UV protectant which gives the piece a golden hue. The sign then hangs by two hooks on the back.

This is real wood. Each piece is unique and may contain knots, uneven thickness, varied colors and uneven edges. These pieces are hand painted and may have smudges of paint on the back of the wood. All of this is part of being a hand made wood sign.

Turn around time for cedar can be up to 6-8 weeks.
